Thanksgiving :)

Ok i know i’m like the worst blogger ever! I haven’t written anything in like two months, I’m so sorry 😦 My life here now is a real life and I’m so busy with my new awesome friends that i have no time to write! I’m not gonna tell you what i did in these two months cause i honestly don’t even remember! I am just writing this post to say that i”m sorry and that I’ll try to write at least once a week from today.

And there is something else I really want to share, today i volunteered at a food pantry in Milwaukee with my school! It was awesome, we gave people thanksgiving bags and it was amazing to see how happy they were, i really feel changed and i really feel like this is something I really want to do during this year and even in Italy, I strongly encourage all of you to do that because I felt useful in a really and completely positive way for one of the first times in my life and it’s an amazing emotion!

So I have to leave now, i’ll try to keep my promise!

Hi guys!

Sorry, i didn’t write anything in these days but i was very busy! We had two days of school (yeah!) on thursday and friday and my mum was on vacation so i stayed at the house of Hanna, another exchange student from Germany, we had a lot of fun! I went to school with her on friday because I didn’t want to stay at home alone and it was so much fun! We didn’t do anything 🙂 We played bingo during chemistry (the only prize i won was the consolation prize ahahahaha) and we skipped last hour because there was an assembly about bullying.

On friday night we went to the football game and we met Isabela from Brazil and Tanja from Finland because Hanna’s school was playing against their school and I was really happy cause these girls are so nice! But it was so cold! I was freezing! I’m really scared, I don’t know how I will survive during winter 😦

On saturday Hanna and I went shopping and then at night we went to Mukwonago for the AFS halloween party! It was really funny! I won a lot of candies! (I’m going to share them with some friends at school I can’t eat all of them 😦 )

This is a picture of me and some of the other guys! 🙂

So i think that’s all!

Bye 🙂

P.s. I gained 9 pounds (almost 4 kilos) since I came (2 months and a half), that’s really depressing!

2 MONTHS! (and AFS orientation)

Hi guys!

So first of all: akjhafdjsfsghfgeliurgerliugewg 1000 views! I can’t believe it! I still remember how excited i was when i reached the 100 views and know i have ten times that number, i really appreciate that, thank youuuuuuu!!!!

So as you probably understood from the title (I know you are smart!) I have been here in the USA for two months! It’s incredible, isn’t it? Time is flying!

I love my life here, i’m happy to say that slowly i’m finding a routine, I have some friends, my host mum is becoming like a real mum and things like that.

On the other hand, this last period was a little bit harder I’m a bit confused, I have so many questions in my head! I really would like to try to explain you but I’m really not able to do that… I’m just asking myself things like “wouldn’t I be happier in Italy?” and things like that, I don’t even know why!

But I’m not saying at all I regret the decision to leave, it was the best decision ever! But… it’s not so easy as I thought when I arrived.

And during the weekend there was the AFS post-arrival orientation, it was fun! I love all those guys they are so nice!

I have nothing to tell you about my last week because it was kind of boring so… bye!

Hi guys,

best two days ever! I’m so happy 🙂

So let’s start with friday: lessons were shorter because at the end of the day there was the pep rally, an assembly where first of all they showed a video ( if you want to watch it 🙂 ) and then there were exhibitions of dance team and cheerleaders and some challenges between the different grades, it was fun! And then they called all the members of court (i was in the court with sebastian, exchange student from Denmark, for model un) and they introduced us to the rest of the school and then they said the names of the queen and the king… of course i was not the queen, but Sebastian was the the king! This is so cool, i am so happy for him! And then when the school finished I went with some friends to have an ice-cream and then we went to the meeting point for the parade (yep there’s a parade), Sebastian and I were supposed to be in a convertible (yep members of homecoming court use a convertible for the parade), but he wasn’t able to be with me cause i had to go with the football team so i was in the convertible with his host parents and their grandkid!

The parade was amazing we were in the car throwing candies to the children that were shouting our names, it was so cool!

After the parade I went to the house of one of my friend to have dinner and then back to school for the football game! Our team won but it was a very sad game the other team was so bad! I have been told that usually the schools ask to these team to play against them for their homecoming game so they are sure to win!

In the middle of the game we had to walk again in the middle of the field for the homecoming court, i think half of the school now hates me because all the girls love sebastian so much and they were all so jealous just because we walked together. 🙂

And then on saturday the dance!

I went to the house of one of my friends before the dance, we were so many but it was so funny because all the people that were there are very nice and I met a lot of new people, we took so many pictures, my cheeks still hurt!

(this is the most beautiful of all the pictures!)

It was so fun and then we went to the dance and it was… different.

All the girls dance without shoes, the dance end at eleven, you can’t leave before the end of the dance because they are worried that you are leaving to use drugs (WTF), the music was awful, but the most different thing was the grinding: nobody do that in Italy, it’s disgusting! D:

The dance was fun though, just kind of awkward to dance close to people that are grinding!

And then during the dance there was the coronation, so all the members of homecoming court were introduced again, but this time i didm’t walk with Sebastian because he was with the queen, so I had to walk with the boy that was with the queen. And then we took other pictures, and then Sebastian and Maggie (the queen) had to dance in front of all the school and I was like “thank you god, i’m not the queen” cause it looked really awkward! After about 30 seconds all the other members in the court had to join them and i had to dance with the boy that was with the queen and it was awkward! (awkward is the perfect word for yesterday!)

However it was a fun night and i got a tiara just because i was in the homecoming court! (feeling important!)

Bye guys

Hi guys!

Today was my last day of tennis, I’s so sad because almost all my friend are from tennis and I really loved the time I spent doing that… 😦

However I was thinking about telling you about Homecoming week!

So during the week there are dress up days our were: clash day, country club day, dress like your country day (the theme for Homecoming is all around the world so each class was a country, seniors were Spain), class t-shirt day and tomorrow is pirate pride day (we have to wear school colors).

And then tomorrow there is an assembly and cheerleader will do an exhibition and dance team will dance, it’s an assembly to make people have school spirit!

Then they will introduce me to all the school together with all the other guys that are in the Homecoming court.

And then tomorrow after school there is the parade! I’m so excited 🙂

Then there is the football match that is like the most important game of the season.! (go pirates go!)

And then on Saturday of course there’s the dance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m so happy 🙂

I’ll try to write again tomorrow because I bet I’ll have so many things to say!

p.s this post isn’t written very well i know but try to understand i’m so tired!

Ok, i’m like the worst blogger ever, i’m really sorry but i’m always so busy that it’s really hard to find time to write year in the blog.

However hi everybody!

My life here is becoming a real life, i have friends (we are still not really good friends, but i’m working on that), i have a routine everyday: I just go to school, tennis practice, dinner, homework and then i go to bed (this is not very exciting i know, but i just want to be honest) and finally i’m starting to feel like in a family.

This week is homecoming week, everything is so cool everyday there is a theme and we dress up, it’s really funny, I’m in the homecoming court too and that means that during the parade before the football match (yes there is a school parade) i will be one of the people on the float and we are just thirty from the whole school and it’s so cool that i’m there i’m sure it will gel me a lot to find new friends and everybody will know me and will know i’m an exchange student and that’s really cool! And then on saturday there is the danceeeee!!!! This is so cool! MY FIRST REAL AMERICAN DANCE! I’m so excited!! :))))) Of curse nobody asked me out but i don’t care i’m going with some friends, it will be fun!

I will not tell what I have done in these days because it’s really boring and because there are too many things to say, but i promise from today to try to write everyday so that can write more from everyday!

Ok now i have to go, homework are calling me! 🙂

Love ya!
